So what - Lynsey was right. At the time, it was exactly what the UK needed and paved the way for the successes enjoyed by Blair et al.
Lynsey is still around and very active in the music business as well as in self defence for women. This month alone she has been heavily present in the press (her VCD, her role as director on the board of the Performing Right Society, the death of her former manager Don Arden, father of Sharon Osbourne etc).
By the way, perhaps she is no longer a tory - after all, politics is not as trivial as supporting a football team.
